Genuine Italien place with good food.
Unfortunately we got a waiter from the 70's who was totally uninterested of service and made us feel " not welcome".
Pity... because the place was nice with live music and the kitchen was good.
Actually it was the only place out of 14 restaurants we was disappointed in.
Try grilled meat. Fish is good, but the veal is excellent! Nice serving also.
The place is amazing and so cozy. But the service is awful, we waited for an hour for pasta. Food was ok but not impressive.
The stars were for the location! If you never tasted good food in your life you will appreciate this location. The carbonara was too fat and the grilled vegetables were cold, more like yesterday's dish. I had better Italian food outside Italy. Still a very nice place to have a drink, and to enjoy a nice day outside of the busy city center.
***** for the romantic atmosphere and the surrounding, *** for a good, but very expensive meal
Simple food but OK. They have a big pizza oven and a barbecue. We had pasta with truffles and that was good. Pizza are also OK too. The exterior/ interior of the restaurant is great, I do recommend this restaurant even if it may seem to be touristic.
The place is big enough to find some space in the evening, which is very convenient, and the environment is also very nice.
The food is quite pricey though for the not so good quality (the pizzas were quite oily and the home red wine was also quite bad). Also, little choice (no wine bottles and a lot of the dishes were frozen and not homemade). I would have probably tried for another place had I known.
Good Roman food, nothing really special. The restaurant ambience gets 5 stars, but the staff are super unfriendly and the prices are OK for what you get. There are better restaurants nearby TBH. But, make sure you get a reservation, this place is always full.
Great atmosphere with torches and candles in their outdoor seating. There was an opera singer at the adjacent restaurant which added to the romantic setting. This is a great place for steak. The filet "mignon" was HUGE and probably the best I've ever had. Just be sure to ask for a little more cook as their medium rare is more on the rare side than what you would expect in the States. But the rustically dressed waiters are efficient and willing to please. The bruschetta with funghi (mushrooms) was also amazing.
Nice quiet Street open air setting with good pizza.
